It’s almost 3AM in the breeze.
The room is filled with darkness
I thought of our memories.
Wrapped in sheets, I sank so deep;
your love still lingers on me.

I thought it ended long ago,
But still you haunt me, my lover.
The way we used to be—
The way you used to call me—

my lovely,

my beautiful baby

I miss you so deeply.
Your gentle touch,
your warmth that fed —
my heart
my flesh
my soul

But you burned it all —

And now,
Our love is just a coal…

Like ashes flying in the wind,
I remember it all still...
The day you walked away, my love…
I knew I had to find a way.

To leave—
If only God will let me.
